WAR 2 stands as India's priciest spy thriller, costing Rs. 400 crores; NTR Jr. received Rs. 70 crores, while Hrithik takes home Rs. 50 crores along with a share of the profits!

 The upcoming film War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., is generating a lot of buzz in Indian Cinema, especially after the trailer launch just yesterday. People are talking a lot about the stunning visuals and the grand scale of this YRF Spy Universe Saga, which includes six unique action sequences designed to thrill audiences during the Independence Day weekend in 2025. There's a lot of excitement about War 2 potentially reaching global filmmaking standards.

Now, we’ve got some insight into why that is. A trade source has revealed that War 2 is the most expensive and ambitious project in the YRF Spy Universe. "War 2 has a budget of Rs. 400 crores, which is more than Tiger 3's Rs. 350 crores and Pathaan's Rs. 325 crores. This figure doesn’t even cover the marketing budget set aside for promotions and advertising.

Reports suggest that NTR Jr. is earning Rs. 70 crores for his role in War 2, while Hrithik Roshan is getting Rs. 50 crores upfront, plus a back-end deal for profit sharing. Kiara Advani is set to receive Rs. 15 crores, and Anil Kapoor is getting Rs. 10 crores for his part in the film. Just the acting fees alone total Rs. 150 crores, with director Ayan Mukerji receiving a substantial Rs. 30 crores. "The remaining Rs. 220 crores has been allocated to create the film on an unprecedented scale. The visuals in War 2 are expected to provide audiences with an unforgettable experience.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on August 14, 2025. This film continues the YRF Spy Universe that began back in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger.
